MCIP = Manufacturing Internship Program – Industrial Maintenance Credential – Accepting Application NOW!

Qualified participants will complete hands-on training, paid internships, and earn a college credential in Industrial Maintenance through Waubonsee Community College. This new pilot program is designed to help young adults ages 18–24 get on a solid career path in manufacturing.

Participants get:

  • Boot Camp to prepare participants for interviewing, career exploration, resumes, workers rights, OSHA-10 training and more….Paid 

  • 6 Week Paid Internship- Paid

  • A stackable college credential that can be built on for additional manufacturing certifications and is self-paced learning, giving participants time to build confidence. Hands-on learning working with machines commonly used across manufacturing – Paid Credential

  • Industrial Maintenance gives young adults exposure to multiple areas of manufacturing so they can discover what interests them, develop new skills, and take meaningful steps toward a long-term career.
