Fox Valley Food for Health – 2nd Annual “Hike for Health” Event

Fox Valley Food for Health will host the 2nd Annual “Hike for Health” community event on Saturday, April 23, 2022.  The event will take place at the Leroy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles, IL and will kick-off at 9am. Families and friends from the Fox Valley area, Aurora, and Elgin communities will hike to promote good health and wellness.  We are expecting over 200 to attend.  Proceeds from the event will benefit our Healthy Meals and Teen Education programs.

Fox Valley Food for Health’s mission is to promote a nutrition focused community through teen education and serving those struggling with cancer or other health crisis. During our Teen Education program, area high school students volunteer their time to prepare healthy organic meals for Fox Valley families coping with health challenges as they learn about the positive impact that good nutrition and wellness can have on their lives and in their community.
