Indian Prairie Educational Foundation

This Dunham Fund grant will fund the one-time cost of purchasing robotics equipment and competition components to expand the number of extracurricular Robotics Clubs from eleven schools in Indian Prairie School District 204 to three additional middle schools and 4 elementary schools during the 2016-2017 school year.

With prior support from the Dunham Fund, 76 District 204 Robotics Club teams competed in three regional robotics tournaments last year and the district continues to be the only one in the state of Illinois to host a VEX IQ Robotics tournament established exclusively for elementary school-aged children.

Wayside Cross Ministries

This grant was approved through the Dunham Foundation’s Ready for the Future RFP Grant and supports Wayside Cross Ministries’ Urban Youth Ministries (UYM) Program. The UYM program provides tutoring and mentoring support to Aurora-area students during the school year and summer programming. UYM will also engage other partners through this funding to broaden tutoring and programming offers for their students.
