The Dunham Foundation works to support our nonprofit partners and those in our community through various efforts, including grants, professional development workshops and networking, and special projects such as GivingTuesday training and promotion, the Grantwriters Resource Fund, and the Community Needs Assessment.
We are excited to announce a new educational grant opportunity in 2024!
The Dunham Foundation is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP applications) from nonprofit organizations in the Dunham Foundation Service Area to address learning loss and help accelerate academic achievement, focusing on students attending School Districts 129, 131, and parochial schools within those areas. With a mission to strengthen local youth and families through educational programming, we seek partners with innovative approaches to:
- tutoring
- mentoring
- other academic and social-emotional enrichment opportunities.
Successful requests will demonstrate an understanding of children’s academic and social-emotional needs, clear project goals, and evaluation plans. The online application will go live via our online portal on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, and proposals are due by May 1, 2024.We eagerly look forward to learning about your valuable work and potential collaboration(s).
